39th District lawmakers to host town hall in Arlington

Sen. Keith Wagoner, R-Sedro-Woolley, and Reps. Carolyn Eslick, R-Sultan, and Robert J. Sutherland, R-Granite Falls, are hosting a town hall in Arlington on Saturday, Feb. 22 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

The lawmakers are inviting 39th District residents to come and learn about the 2020 session, ask questions and get information on events at the state Capitol.

What: 39th District Town Hall
When: Saturday, Feb. 22, 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Where: Arlington Municipal Airport, Putnam Hall, 18204 59th Ave. NE, Arlington

“Town halls are a great way for us to stay in touch with the people we represent. We receive thousands of email and letters during session and hundreds of visitors but I always welcome the chance to meet with constituents personally and hear from them directly about how the decisions we make in Olympia are affecting them personally,” said Wagoner.

“These events are a great opportunity for us to meet with people from home and hear about the topics that concern them. I'm looking forward to listening to what people have to say about events in Olympia,” said Eslick.

“I appreciate the input of those who attend our town hall meetings as it helps me in the decision-making process during the legislative session if I have a stronger understanding of the priorities of my constituency,” said Sutherland.
